Celebrating 10 years of the MTG Foundation; a group of Hawke’s Bay people who have supported the expectations of this museum’s community and worked collectively to turn ambition into reality.
Through their dedication to the arts, they have bequeathed, donated, and fund-raised to purchase contemporary and historical art works consisting of paintings, ceramics, sculptures, and photographs for the Hawke’s Bay Museums Trust collection. This exhibition ‘Pictures and Other Works’ showcases some of them.
'Funds to be used for the purchase of pictures and other works of art.' - from the will of Mary Bestall.
